Our Organisation
Wines of Great Britain is overseen by a board of directors and a small executive team. The Regional Vineyard Associations are an important part of the industry structure and all members are also members of their regional association. WineGB is an independent, non-profit organisation financed by its members and seeks additional funding from industry sponsors.
Her Majesty The Queen Consort
The former Duchess of Cornwall, now Her Majesty The Queen Consort, was our President since 2011. The Queen Consort’s support for the growing English and Welsh wine industry has been greatly appreciated.
Her Majesty has visited many vineyards and attended events, always demonstrating her knowledge and genuine interest in English and Welsh wines.
