In 1988 on the Wyken Estate, their 12,000 vines were planted on 7 acres of south-facing slopes. The vines, trained in the Scott Henry style, thrive on the sandy loajm over chalk. On average, they produce 12,000 bottles a year, sold through their country store and restaurant. Wyken Moonshine, their sparkling wine, won "East Anglian Wine of the Year" in 2017. You are free to walk to the vineyard from the Leaping Hare over Hare meadow and through a most beautiful and ancient woodland, Wine tours and tastings are available on request.
