Chartham Vineyard
Family-run vineyard with two hectares of vines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Bacchus) planted in 2013 and 2014 on a south facing slope in the North Downs, overlooking the Stour Valley.
Easily reached from Canterbury (three miles to the north east) by road, train, bus, cycle and footpath (Great Stour Way and North Downs Way). Unique visitor experience in traditional farmyard of 18th century buildings, including the dovecote featured on our logo. Some of these buildings are being developed to combine our interest in art and wine.
There is also a demonstration vineyard in the farmyard. Sales and free tasting of our still and sparkling wines every Saturday, 10.30am to 5.00pm, from our cellar door shop. Pre-booked tours for groups of 5-15 welcomed.
