Welcome to the Discrimination and Social Barriers section of our EDI hub, where we address critical issues that impact individuals and communities, particularly those from minority backgrounds. This area highlights various forms of discrimination, including socioeconomic disparities, language barriers, and age discrimination, as well as the challenges posed by rural isolation. We recognise that marginalised groups, such as the LGBTQIA+ community, often face unique obstacles that hinder their access to equal opportunities and support.
