Become part of the industry body and make your voice heard
Who can join?
Our membership is principally made up of individuals and businesses engaged in the production of English and Welsh wines; growing the grapes, making the wines, or both.
We also welcome individuals working in, or with a strong interest in, the industry, students of wine-related courses, and trade or commercial associates.
You can apply online here.
What are the benefits?
The benefits you receive depend on the type of membership that you select.
What are the fees?
The fees you pay depend on your type of membership, the size of your business and the regional association(s) you decide to join. In general, members must join their local geographical region, but may join other regions as well if they wish.
Growers and Producers
For individuals and businesses involved in the growing of grapes and/or the production of wine the fees are based on hectarage of vines planted and wine production level (in bottles). A Grower or Producer must also join their local regional association.
Associates
An associate member is any individual, either working in or with a strong interest in the industry, a student (on a wine-related course), or a commercial organisation involved in the industry.
The fees and benefits vary depending on the type of associate.
Regional Association Fees
Most members must join at least one region, the exception being commercial associates who operate on a national level. Fees vary by region and are collected at the same time as the WineGB fees.
What is the Joining Process?
To join WineGB you will need to register your email address on this site and then complete a simple online form (including Direct Debit details). On submission of the form your application will be reviewed by our administrative team and, once confirmed, you will receive an automatic notification by email.
Once your membership is confirmed you will be subscribed automatically to the Members’ Forum and will be able to log-in to the self-service dashboard (MyWineGB) where you can view and update your details, and from where (if you are a grower or producer) you can enter details for your directory listing on the main site and maintain the list of subscribers you would like to have access to the Members’ Area and the Forum.
