Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing the seven shortlisted photographs for each final category every Thursday at 5pm.

Criteria
So far, the judges have been scoring photographs based on these five criteria:
- Quality of image and usability
- Representation of category
- Representation of UK wine industry
- WineGB brand cohesion
- Professional personal opinion

Our head photography judge Alex Turner is a photographer and journalist who has worked with the Guardian, The New York Times, and the BBC. He said:
“It was a pleasure to judge this competition. There is clearly a great deal of talent on display, and it was challenging to shortlist from such a strong field of entries. I enjoyed looking through our photographers’ lenses for a unique view of the many British winemaking teams and vineyards that are represented. I look forward to seeing what the public think of our shortlisted categories and images.”
