Julian, Tom, Sam & Will Barnes
Biddenden Vineyards, Kent
Biddenden Vineyard is now on second and third generation, and boasting 50 years as a vineyard and family business, the original vineyard having been planted by Richard Barnes in 1969. Julian his son is now the MD and head winemaker, working alongside sons Tom and Will. Sam works for suppliers to the GB wine industry N P Seymour as well has runs his own vine supplying business.
Comments Julian: “Working in a family business with so many big egos is not straight forward, But a job done well!“
Son Tom adds: “Every father should remember that one day his sons will follow his example not his advice!!”
