SWGB Certified Members
A list of our SWGB certified members.
This list shows all WineGB members who have completed their SWGB audits. Certification varies: some members are certified for their vineyard or winery only, while others hold full estate certification. Some have their wine made at certified contract winemaking facilities, and others purchase certified grapes.
The first stage for every member is the Green audit, where they submit one year of data and demonstrate compliance with the scheme’s minimum standards. Three years later, they progress to the Gold audit, which requires three consecutive years of data and evidence that they meet all minimum and evaluation and planning standards. At this stage, members must show they are analysing their performance, setting improvement targets, and preparing for the next audit cycle.
Once certified Gold, members must maintain Gold. This means continuing to meet all minimum standards and evaluation and planning requirements, while also providing evidence of best practice across their vineyard and/or winery.
Achieving and maintaining SWGB certification can take several years. It requires consistent data collection, changes to processes and behaviours across the business, and verification through an external audit.
