Toppesfield Vineyard
Toppesfield Vineyard's focus on producing high quality grapes has resulted in a number of awards, including East Anglia's Wine of the Year (2016 and 2017), Best White and Best Bacchus. In the 2018 global Sommelier competition, Toppesfield won one of four English gold medals for their Bacchus 2016 reserve. Coworth Park Ascot's Michael Fiducia thought Toppesfield Bacchus was defined by its elegance, describing "elderflower notes with light nuances of gooseberry and greengage". Cheese at Leadenhall's Robert Mason described it as "savoury on the nose, with some ripe lychee, peach and jasmine aromas, leading to a weighty body, with ripe fruit and fresh acidity". Toppesfield Rosé is a light, dry wine with hints of English strawberries and citrus. It is a gentle pink colour, with a refreshing finish and very "drinkable" on a warm summers day - with or without food. Opening Time, by appointment, Saturdays 10am - 12 noon
