St Martin’s Vineyard & Winery

St Martin’s Vineyard is situated on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall. It is one of the most south-westerly vineyards in the UK and it's coastal location is unique, being just 100m from the sand dunes of Par Beach. The vines cover just over one hectare of south-facing slopes on soils derived from granite and sand, on the site of a former flower farm. The first vines were planted in 1996 - varieties include Orion, Seyval, Rondo, Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay, Madeleine Angevine, Reichensteiner, Regent, Siegerrebe, Black Hamburg and Triomph d'Alsace.  The wines are produced and bottled on-site, and tours and tastings are offered from the visitor centre throughout the summer months. The vineyard’s organic approach and focus on biodiversity ensures there are plenty of interesting and unique flora and fauna for the nature enthusiast to enjoy as well as the wine-lovers!
