Hendred Vineyard

Hendred Vineyard is on the sloping ground to the west of the village of East Hendred, in the Vale of the White Horse, Oxfordshire, England. Originally planted in 1972 and consisting of Pinot Noir, Seyval Blanc, Madeline Angevine and Bacchus varieties, award winning still and sparkling wines have been produced from grapes grown at Hendred Vineyard. The microclimate and chalky soils produce light refreshing wines. The vineyard is family run and a shop for tastings and sales opens on occasional Saturday afternoons. Opening dates and times are advertised on the Hendred Vineyard web page.
