The vineyard is situated on a south easterly slope that overlooks the Lickey Hills towards Birmingham. It is one hectare with 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Seyval Blanc vines. The selected clones are useful in the heavy soil (Sandy Loam Clay) and produce open clusters, with good colour and resistance to Botritis. It is primarily used to produce quality still wines.
