Compton Combe Vineyard

Our half-acre vineyard slopes gently to the south east in a combe under the escarpment of the South Downs National Park adjacent to the Royal Eastbourne Gold Course about a mile from the sea and fifty metres above sea level. The terroir is flinty loam overlying chalk. We grow pinot noir, chardonnay and bacchus to make into still wine. We hope to release our first wines for sale in 2019.
