Coates and Seely's sparkling wines, made from the chalk slopes of the North Hampshire Downs, have achieved international critical acclaim and won gold medals and trophies at many of the world's leading competitions, including Best English Sparkling Wine at the Decanter World Wine Awards (2015) and the Supreme Champions Trophy for Best English Sparkling Wine at the UK Wine Awards (2017). Established in 2008/2009 by Christian Seely - Managing Director of Pichon Longueville (Baron) in Bordeaux - and Hampshire based Nicholas Coates, the pair use leading French winemakers and advanced wine-making technology to produce wines that perfectly express both the Englishness of their terroir and the traditional winemaking skills of the Champenois.
