In 2014 Chinthurst Hill Vineyards was established on one of the finest southern slopes of the Surrey Hills. Six hundred vines of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay were planted on a portion of its 3.8 acre site. Only a year later, these vines bore its first bottles of Chinthurst Hill Rose and this initial success emboldened the proprietors to continue with their goal of expanding the vineyard and producing quality sparkling wine on a par with the best in the world. They are proud to contribute to the growing English winemaking tradition and believe that the craft commercial winemaker can compete successfully with high-volume corporate distilleries.
