Bolney Wine Estate

Bolney Wine Estate in Sussex was only the sixth commercial vineyard to be planted in the UK, established in 1972 in the picturesque village of Bolney. The sandstone soils are some of the best in the country for providing the ideal setting to grow vines. Across our 39 acres, we grow a range of grape varieties and create award-winning wines, carefully crafted by our passionate team. The Bolney Wine Estate is a haven for wildlife, and through its traditional production methods and cultural practices, avidly promotes and maintains soil health, fertility and stability in its vineyards. We are proud of our story and how far our family has come in the last five decades. Bolney Wine Estate has been one of the pioneers of the English wine industry and our experience and passion has helped energize others who have joined our craft. Our goal is simple: to produce the best quality wines possible, to rival the best wineries in the world.
