A book on English wine and vineyards – Watercress, Willow and Wine by Cindy-Marie Harvey – has been shortlisted in the prestigious Fortnum & Mason’s Food & Drink Book Awards.

The book is one of the contenders for the Debut Drink Book category. The awards celebrate the very best in food and drink writing, publishing, broadcasting and photography. The high-profile panel judges is chaired by leading chef Angela Hartnett and comprises six leading food and drink writers.

Says author Cindy-Marie Harvey: “Am so proud that English Wine has been awarded this great recognition – showcasing the diversity and quality now being produced. It is not a public vote but decided by Angela Hartnett and a team of Judges.

“Butterflies already building – but to be honest am just so incredibly happy even to be shortlisted!”
