Trade Tasting 2023

WineGB Trade Tasting Exhibitor Criteria

The WineGB Trade tasting is open to all current producer members of WineGB. Details of each wine to be exhibited must be provided, and be in accordance with the following:

Classic Method Sparkling Wines

Each wine must have one of:

  1. A PDO/PGI registration number OR
  2. A post-disgorging analysis certificate that meets the PDO or PGI minimum standards* OR
  3. An award (Trophy or Gold, Silver or Bronze medal) in at least one of the following competitions within the past 2 years (i.e. 2023 or 2022):

Sparkling wines produced by other methods:

Each wine must have:

Still Wines

Each wine must have one of:

  1. A PDO/PGI registration number OR
  2. A post-bottling analysis certificate and no fault tasting that meets the PDO or PGI minimum standards* OR
  3. An award (Trophy or Gold, Silver or Bronze medal) in at least one of the following competitions within the last 2 years (i.e. 2023 or 2022):

Other Products

* A copy or link to the post-bottling analysis and PDO/PGI application number, or certificate of no faults tasting, must be provided with the details of the wine to be exhibited at the Trade Tasting
