National trade tasting – 8 September
Our flagship national event for the trade and press takes place in a new, larger central London location, bringing together the trade from across England and Wales.
We have listened to your feedback and our full focus in to attract more members of the trad. To that we are:
- Moving to a new venue with more space, spread across 2 floors. 8 Northumberland Avenue is centrally located in the heart of Zone 1.
- Moving to Monday – the day of the week to attract more trade and press visitors.
- Focusing on story-telling and education; what makes English and Welsh wine unique.
These changes will make this year’s tasting more accessible to our trade and press guests, while remaining superbly positioned for both the Christmas market and the start of wine list planning for 2026. This is the perfect opportunity to meet trade buyers, press, influencers, and key decision makers in person.
This year’s event will also include:
- Themed tasting tables
- A dedicated tasting table for the WineGB Awards trophy winners and
regional champions - A kick-off briefing for participating producers before we open the doors
- Masterclass sessions – more details coming soon!
There are three themed tasting tables at this years’ Trade and Press Tasting – Taste the terroir (separate tables for still and sparkling) and Rise of the Reds – along with a dedicated table for our WineGB Awards trophy winners. Wines for each table are limited to 20 and these will be curated to allow us to comprehensively reflect the category. QR codes will be available for each wine with a dedicated pourer, who can talk about each of the wines on show.
Exhibiting at the Trade & Press Tasting is open to all WineGB producers. Further information, pricing* and exhibiting criteria can be found here. Further details regarding arrival time and programme for the day will be supplied in due course.
