Lallemand Oenology invites you to an immersive session exploring the intricate world of wine microbiology.

The event has been designed to offer unique insights into wine microbiology and provide an opportunity to engage in discussions about this fascinating aspect of wine production.

Prof. Hervé Alexandre, from the Université de Bourgogne, will discuss the association between microorganisms and terroir and present the latest independent research.

Ann Dumont and Anthony Silvano, from Lallemand Oenology, will share results of a recent study involving Pinot Noir from around the world made by reputable producers. This will be followed by a tasting led by Sam Harrop MW and Dirceu Vianna Junior MW who will share insights along with winemakers Richard Kershaw MW and Gerd Stepp, both have participated in the study.
