The British Pullman, a Belmond train, is celebrating the excellence of artisanal English wine-making, with a new series of four journeys to offer unrivalled access to some of the nation’s leading and most exclusive wineries, to include: Nyetimber, Simpsons Wine Estate, Nutbourne, Wiston Estate and Westwell. Each journey will welcome guests onboard the train for a three-course brunch crafted from seasonal produce, most of which will have been sourced from the bucolic fields, orchards and farmlands guests travel through on the way to the vineyards, where a private, guided tour awaits, with wine tastings and insights shared on the craft of the winemaking process.

Kicking off during English Wine Week, the first in the series (19th June) will be a memorable day trip from London to the award-winning Gusbourne winery in Kent, for an English Garden Party in the vineyards, on 19th June. The day will celebrate the very best in gastronomy aboard the heritage train in seasonal menus championing the finest British produce designed by Head Chef, Jon Freeman, together with sampling the three grape varieties produced at Gusbourne over a guided tasting – while enjoying live music, lawn games and more
