The first ever multiple-site English vineyard tour hosted by a Master of Wine will take place from 16-20 June 2026 – visiting eleven leading wineries on this five day tour.
The trip will begin with an optional tasting supper on 15 June held at London's newest urban winery, Vagabond Canada Water, with tasting of wines from all four London's urban wineries.
The tour will depart London on 16 June with tasting visits at the premium still wine producer Danbury Ridge (Essex), Taittinger’s UK outpost Domaine Evremond (Kent) – as well as others in the beautiful Kent countryside, Simpsons and Gusbourne wineries.
In Sussex, visits include the UK’s pioneering sparkling-only wine estate, Nyetimber (pictured) with a lunch and tasting with winemaker Brad Greatrix – as well as supper with the Goring family, owners of Wiston Estate – and a tasting at the widely acclaimed Sugrue South Downs, hosted by the dynamic winemaker Irishman Dermot Sugrue.
In Hampshire, the group will visit the UK’s oldest commercial vineyard at Hambledon Wine Estate – as well as visits to exciting newcomers The Grange Vineyard, Exton Park and Black Chalk wineries.
There will also be a chance to taste wines from other UK producers during the tour.
The trip will be hosted by Master of Wine Rose Murray Brown. It will begin and end in London – with transfers between wineries and hotels by comfortable air-conditioned coach – and four night’s accommodation included in well-appointed hotels in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire.
The tour is open to members of the public with a keen interest in increasing their knowledge of English still and sparkling wines.
