In celebration of English Wine Week (and potentially Welsh Wine Week) we're hosting a fabulous tasting of home grown treats. Whilst our fair counties of Sussex produce the most grapes, there are many wineries and vineyards across the nation busily putting their all into creating a panoply of wines. Yes an absolute panoply, and with the flexibity of an emerging wine region our local wine makers have pretty much a free reign on what they can do in their wineries or vineyards. Fancy planting some Madeline Angevin? Found some Triomphe and Rondo, marvellous, can I make a Pet Nat? Why the heck not, and whilst you're there why not put the Chardonnay through some carbonic maceration, lets see what happens. Solera system for you? Yes, Yes, and Yes again to all of it. We're painting our own playbook of flavours and it's not just fancy talk, it's also really delicious. Not only that, but the weather and it's ability to wreak havoc amongst the vines, is being (somewhat) defied in places as soggy as Wales, where biodynamic and regenerative practices are flourishing.

Come and taste five wines from across the other counties of the UK and discover a bit of this magnificent creativity and expression.
