Wiston Estate, stewarded by the Goring Family since 1743, is now presided over by Richard Goring and his wife Kirsty. In Richard’s words: “Our family has cared for this estate, with its meadows, woodlands and buildings, and stewarded what it has produced since 1743. Kirsty and I feel passionate about nurturing this land and its communities, so they continue to be a source of life for people, nature and enterprise.”

Vines were first planted here in 2006 and since then Wiston has emerged as one of England’s most celebrated sparkling wine producers.

Wiston’s Pledge

For the Coronation Pledge Wiston Estate will be installing a series of beehives to help preserve and protect the bee population in the area, and for the first time we will be planting bee-friendly cover crops in our vineyards to support the bee population and boost the biodiversity of the vineyards.
