Hedgerow plantings to increase biodiversity

A family owned organic farm with two vineyards and given His Majesty’s love of hedges a mixed native hedge of 4 chains has been planted in honour of the Coronation to enclose the second vineyard. It runs parallel to the Platinum Jubilee Ride of nearly 2 furlongs planted in 2022.

Both these plantings increase biodiversity, shelter for livestock & wildlife and reduce potential soil erosion.
