Creating a pond to build a new ecosystem

Chet Valley Vineyard is a family business with 16,000 vines specialising in sparkling wine produced by secondary fermentation in the bottle. We are the oldest wine producer in Norfolk, having planted in 2010. Our key is to produce the wine sustainably. We built our state-of-the-art winery 3 years ago and have a tasting area that permits social events to be organised on site and they be catered for.

Chet Valley’s Pledge

Our pledge is to dig, line and plant up a pond in front of the winery balcony for visitors to enjoy.

The creating of a pond will be a further ecosystem to the winery, increasing the number of flora and fauna on the site. We have started the project and already some ducks have arrived!
